I was called a “stubble jumper” when I first moved to the city. I am proud of it. Here is an excerpt from “When the Sky got Bigger”. It is my love letter to Saskatchewan. There’s nothing more sacred than that big blue sky, the land below it and the grain elevator sentinels of my childhood. Thank you my dear friend, Tom Doyle, for the amazing tours we had together!

Many thanks to Erin Corbett for encouraging me on this unique journey!

Here’s a link for Pulse Studios!  A fantastic Hip Hop collaborative experience!!!

I have a special spot in my heart for Dr. Oakley School.  Enjoy this exceptional representation of the discoveries they found together.

“Broken Pieces”, a radio drama created by River Valley School Grade 4Bs (2017)

guided by Lana Skauge (script) Aidan Lytton (Foley Artist)

This finely woven story begins in the ancient time and moves to modern day where the broken pieces of a Red River cart calls upon the world to listen to the wind and respect its power. I’m so proud of the students for delving into a very old form!

“The Forgotten Farm”, a radio drama mystery created by River Valley School Grade 5As (2017)

guided by Lana Skauge (script) Aidan Lytton (Foley Artist)

Students studied the Great Depression in Alberta and its influence on the land using sky science as their focus. Their commitment to the mystery genre was exemplary!

“The Fool’s Journey” (2019) marked a departure from my usual summation style but as you can see, I LOVE to CHANGE IT UP! The Upper Elementary students at the Montessori School of Calgary embraced the journey of a simpleton visited by struggles and guided by hope through beautifully handcrafted Spirits. Enjoy a glimpse into wonder…..!

All there has ever been is the story for me. “One Last Day” is important on all levels. With one right action, we can change the world! Enjoy!
